Mary Jane Hughes, 82, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday at Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus, NJ.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Hughes was a resident of Hamilton for 20 years and a member of St. Gregory the Great RC Church.
Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ruth Clinton and her husband John J. Hughes, she is survived by her sons, Reverend James A. Hughes, John F. Hughes and his wife Karen, and Thomas P. Hughes and his wife Janet; her daughter, Marianne T. Dasnoit and her husband Charles; her sister, Ruth O'Keefe; and her grandchildren, Thomas J. Hughes and his wife Melissa, and Caitlin A. Hughes.
The funeral will begin 10am Friday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
Family and friends may call 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday at the Colonial Home.
