Miriam E. Wood, 73 of Hamilton, passed away Friday at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Wood was a lifelong area resident and had done volunteer work at RWJ University Hospital for over 30 years.
Daughter of the late Elise Rhoades, she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Elden R. Wood; her daughter, Debbie Hall and her husband Jeff of Fuquay-Varina, NC; three sons, Elden R. Wood, Jr. and his wife Gloria, Douglas B. Wood and his wife Donna, all of Hamilton, and Robert D. Wood of Mt. Laurel; three grandchildren, Jennifer Wysock and her husband Henry of Hamilton, Becky Guin and her husband Chris of Apex, NC, and Tessa Wood of Hamilton; and three great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Heather Wysock of Hamilton, and Olivia Guin of Apex, NC.
The funeral service will be held 11am Thursday at the Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood Ave., Trenton, NJ.
Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Family and friends may call 5-7pm Wednesday at the Memorial Home.
