Eileen Kminek, 77 (39 again), of Toms River, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She worked for the East Windsor School District and the Princeton Medical Center. Mrs. Kminek was also a secretary for the NJ Turnpike Authority for many years before retiring.
Born in Hoboken, Mrs. Kminek was a resident of East Windsor before moving to Toms River. Eileen was a member of St. Anthony of Padua.
Daughter of the late William Patrick and Amanda Flynn, wife of the late Joseph Kminek and mother-in-law of the late Sheila Kminek; she is survived by her daughter, Bonnie K. Kminek, Princeton; her sons, Gary P. Kminek, Pemberton and Michael Kminek and his wife, Janice, East Windsor; her sister, Ruth Delia, Toms River; her brother, Patrick Flynn, West Milford; her grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Mark, Shawn, Michael, Gabrielle, Jack, James, Christine and her husband, Stephen, and Gary Jr. and her great-granddaughter, Brenna Claire.
The funeral will begin 9:30am Friday at A. S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown. Interment will follow at the Madonna Cemetery, Ft. Lee, NJ.
Family and friends may call 2-4pm and 7-9pm Thursday at the funeral home.
