Robin Beth (Dow) Schabacker, age 49, of Denville, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 24, at her home following a courageous year long battle with cancer. Born March 20, 1961, she was the daughter of Carol Brindley Dow and the late C. Robert Dow. She was a graduate of Steinert High School Class of 1979, and also a graduate of Montclair State and Rider University. Robin was a director for the National Trade Association of Printers and Lithographers for over 20 years. She was a member of the Denville Jr. Women's League, the Lakeview Elementary School Birthday Book Club, and Denville Community United Methodist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Allan Brindley, cousin Sandra Rodefield, and her father and mother-in law Harold and Dorothy Schabacker. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 15 years, Richard A. Schabacker, son, Robert Allan Schabacker, both of Denville; sister, Suzanne Walukiewicz and husband Robert; sister-in-law Jayne Brown and husband Jeff; nieces Samantha and Erica Brown; aunt Alyce Verna Moore; and cousins Alyce Kramer and Donna Miele; as well as many special friends, neighbors, co-workers, and extended family.


Relatives and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 27, from 6-9 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Services will take place on Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held Wednesday from 9-10 am at Saul Colonial Home in Hamilton Square, NJ, with burial to follow in Ewing Church Cemetery.
